We are a healthcare company that strongly believes in the dignity of the human being. We are not just a healthcare agency but a human services company that is people-focused, and people-centered. At Apex, our clients and patients are at the heart of what we do. Our name “Apex Human Services” is not accidental but it is designed to truly reflect our inner passion for the services we provide. Our belief in the value of human life and the fact that it takes special people to effectively provide care that is compassionate and competent is the reason for our existence. We are united by a strong set of values, focused on client impact. The quality of our experienced professional staff is the cornerstone of our ability to serve our clients and patients from the comfort of their homes. We take a very careful but consistent approach to recruiting staff with the right experience and expertise, ready to deliver services to our patients and clients at any time. Apex Human Services is a community of compassionate nurses, social workers, counselors, Direct care workers, therapists, and aides continuously and consistently bringing hope to families.

We are a reliable and dependable provider of home health services in the Delaware, Philadelphia, Chester, Bucks, and Montgomery counties. If you are looking for an agency that not only provides competent and quality care with a knack and flare, but an agency that truly cares and covers your needs then look no further than Apex. Apex is licensed, insured, and contracted by major insurance companies, Medicaid, Medicare, and most waiver programs in Pennsylvania.

What makes us different?

We are an agency built on a very strong pillar of customer service. At Apex, the patient/participant is at the center of what we do. What sets us apart from other home health agencies are:

Putting the customer first– Our services are directly carved out to uniquely address the needs of our patients and participants on a case by case basis. This is because everybody is different. We respond to your needs based on your own unique circumstances. We value our patients/participants. At the Apex of our services is our patients. We treat you as if you are the only one that we have.

We solve problems – One major problem in skilled-nursing-home health care is that most agencies take cases and admit patients, but they cannot truly provide adequate, competent, and continuous service. Families go for days and weeks without nursing coverage for their loved ones. We are different because we cover all your shifts, on holidays, weekends, days, and nights. You can go to bed and be rest assured that there is a nurse taking care of your family member. For every patient, we have a back-up plan. When your regular nurse is sick or constrained on a certain day, an equally competent nurse is there to work with you. In the absence of the back-up nurse, our nursing supervisors are hands-on and get trained in all our cases. The nursing supervisors, fill-in in worst case scenarios.

You make the choice: Home health care is a family concept. At Apex, we do not impose nurses on you that you may not like. At the start of the admission process, we send you at least three options. You will interview the nurses and make your choice. The family also plays a role in scheduling. So, if a family trusts a particular nurse and wants that nurse to work daily, we surely allow you the family to have the nurse. We do not stop the nurse for fear of overtime. Your safety comes first.

A business model based on ethical values – We do not take your case if we cannot provide the service. We have a selective system based on client impact and we accept only what we can adequately staff. We are readily accessible 24hrs daily 7 days a week. You can call us, email us, or send a Facebook message. We keep the lines of communication open at all times. We submit to all local, state, and federal regulations and participate in the Medicare/Medicaid programs. We are ACHC accredited.

We are a multicultural/multilingual agency. At Apex, we are not just culturally competent to understand everyone’s unique circumstances, but we also speak multiple languages. In addition to English, we have caregivers that speak several languages including:

  • Chinese-Mandarin and Cantonese
  • French
  • Swahili
  • Spanish
  • Vietnamese
  • Cambodian
  • Arabic
  • Thai

Quality of Service: As our name signifies, Apex is the highest level or the acme of quality of services we provide. We have a diversified pool of staff. Our staff is thoroughly screened, well trained, motivated, compassionate, and well equipped, ready to deliver the utmost quality of services. Our hiring, training, and safety practices are very deliberate, stringent and rigorous. We go over and beyond in meeting Federal and State regulations.

Commitment to continuous quality improvement: Upon hire, and ongoing, we maintain continuous training and supervisory models. We connect with our field staff on a daily basis and support is available 24/7.

High staff/client Retention Rate: We retain our staff and the clients we serve (our staff/client retention rate is above 95%). At Apex, we invest a lot of time getting to know our clients/patients and their families, as well as our staff. We believe that the best way to meet staff-customer needs is to pair people together for a satisfying experience, a coherent, or a budding relationship. With the conviction that health and happiness are correlated, we take the concept of a “matchmaking-model” within all facets of our company, to ensure the highest rate of customer satisfaction. Simply put, at Apex, as our name implies, we truly walk the walk when it comes to providing diligent, efficient, and quality care of services to our diversified clients/patients.

Non-Discrimination

Your disability is not inability. At Apex, we do not discriminate against any person on the basis of disability, AIDS, race, sex, age, color, or national origin in admission to, or participation in, or receipt of any of our services whether provided by the agency directly or through a contractor.
